Our client a world leader in semiconductors is looking for a "Manufacturing - Buyer/Planner 3" based out of Milpitas CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate: $48.07/hr - $55.29/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:

Plans schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e. just in time purchases).
Resolves discrepancies.
Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
