Job Summary
.
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining network performance by building & change net configurations and connections troubleshooting L1 & L2 network incident & problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance upgrade configuration of various networking devices
Provide support in External connection documentation
Create and update internal low level and high-level network infrastructure documents including diagrams
Update network related Disaster Recovery procedures
Secure network system by enforcing ING policies and standards
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network and enterprise architects on network optimization.
Reporting network operational status by gathering prioritizing information
Any other duties as assigned by management
Rotate On call availability (8.00PM to 8.00AM including weekends and bank holidays)
Requirements
University degree
5 years experience in the same role/position in an international and complex environment
Cisco CCNA certification / CCNP nice to have
Experience gained within financial industry is a plus
Experience on Cisco Systems complex switching (Catalyst and Nexus) and routing environments Checkpoint firewalls Palo Alto firewalls F5 complex load balancing/SSL/VPN solutions Blue Coat proxy solutions Cisco Systems ISE Linux based OS security appliance administration Paessler PRTG / Nagios
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
