Job Summary

POSITION TITLE

Systems Engineer/SME

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Systems Engineer you will work as an integral member of a government/contractor team supporting ongoing and future programs. In this unique role you will apply your technical skills toward state-of-the-art highly advanced analysis solutions in support of critical customer focus areas.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

To be considered candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance. Candidates who do not possess this level of clearance will not be considered. TS/SCI with polygraph is highly desired

Master of Science degree with 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience - additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree

At least four (4) or more years of recent engineering experience in the following areas: RF communication signal processing radar modeling and simulation or similar fields

In-depth knowledge of antenna design principals array technology and radio-wave propagation methods and systems

Demonstrated knowledge as a subject matter expert of engineering principles and practices

Experience working independently or as a member of a multidisciplinary design and development team that may include engineers and technicians

Significant verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues management or sponsors

Desired:

Experience running simulations on high-performance computing (HPC) graphics processor units (GPU) or other advanced processing platforms

Subject matter expert knowledge of advanced system concepts related to aerospace and/or spacecraft

Proficient using modeling design or development tools (e.g. MATLAB Mathematica Simulink or languages such as C/C Java Python etc.)
