Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in the Fort Meade MD / Annapolis Junction MD area. Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development and provides enterprise-level network server desktop and application security services.
Qualifications
- Experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Experience supporting IT systems including day-to-day operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Linux is required.
- Optimize system operations and utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- 5 years with a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 3 years with a Masters degree.
- DoD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2 is required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
