POSITION: Human Resources Representative

SALARY: $21.82 to 26.58 per hour DOE

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director

LOCATION: Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority Keller WA

Basic Functions: This is a Non-Exempt position. The Human Resources Representative provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department within the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services including recruitment coordination record maintenance reporting and internal/external communications. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Training:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 (three) years of administrative support or Human Resources experience.
  • Valid Washington State Drivers License is required and be insurable.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires the ability to understand speak communicate and read the English language.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must be proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate technical information and to interact with a wide variety of groups and individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to plan organize and prioritize work processes in a high-volume environment in order to meet schedules and timelines.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in written verbal and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone word choice and body language.
  • Ability to be fair consistent honest and unbiased.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in the duties of the position in order to meet mandated deadlines and to comply with HR goals and objectives.

Physical Requirement:

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Manual and finger dexterity to complete duties.
  • Ability to frequently bend stoop and reach.
  • Ability to push and pull frequently.

Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug addition this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.

If required of this position you must possess and maintain avalid Washington State drivers license and be eligible for the Tribes Vehicle addition this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
