Summary:
RFNOW is seeking a Data & BIReporting Analyst with strong technical skills and a problem-solving role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning disorganized or siloed datainto actionable insights automating repetitive tasks and building integrationsacross tools systems and teams.
The successful candidate will workhands-on with Excel Power BI and various system integrations to streamlinereporting support cross-departmental data needs and contribute to thedevelopment of our internal data warehouse. They will be responsible fordelivering clean professional Power BI reports and analytics that informdecision-making at both the management and stakeholder levels. A strong senseof initiative curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning will be keyto success in this role.
Duties mayinclude:
- Power BI Development: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards using data from large spreadsheets SQL databases and cloud-based systems. Design visuals that support operational financial and strategic decision-making.
- Data Integration & APIs: Assist in building and maintaining API connections between internal systems and reporting tools with a working understanding of how APIs webhooks and authentication work.
- Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain Python scripts to automate data collection and transformation processes where needed.
- Excel Expertise: Use advanced Excel formulas and structures to support ad hoc and recurring reporting needs especially in transition environments where spreadsheet data is still in use.
- ETL & Data Mapping: Support extract-transform-load (ETL) processes and assist in mapping data fields across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Project Support: Contribute as a technical resource to internal projects particularly those related to data reporting integrations or system improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation cleanup or consolidation across data/reporting processes. Help move legacy reporting into more modern scalable formats.
Qualifications& Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Systems Business Analytics or related field.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas complex structures)
- 2-4 years ofexperience in designing and publishing Power BI dashboards
- Experience working with SQL databases Power Automate and Power BI dataflows.
- Familiarity with Python scripting for data tasks (e.g. automation ETL logic).
- Experience or exposure to API-based data integrations (e.g. using Postman).
- Understanding of data flow field mapping and schema design across systems.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage competing priorities and project contributions.
- Clear communicator comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bonus: Exposure to data lakes/warehouses (e.g. Microsoft Fabric Azure Synapse).
