Full Time Days
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Greets and communicates with patients visitors and hospital personnel by telephone intercom or in person in a polite and professional manner. Schedules exams in all modalities of Radiology. Completes and coordinates all clerical work prior to patients radiological examinations.
Employment Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent; medical terminology computer skills and 35wpm typing speed. Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred.
- Tact and diplomacy required for contact with customers under stressful conditions.
- Ability to make decisions based on the urgency of the situation and in accordance with department policies.
- Requires multi-tasking and use of standard office equipment.
