T-Mobiles Federal Regulatory Affairs team is looking for a sharp strategic business-minded attorney to join as Senior Corporate Counsel. This role supports the approval of T-Mobiles transactions before the FCC and related competition policy advocacy.

With the assistance of outside counsel youll be responsible for advocating for T-Mobiles transactions including articulating the public interest benefits managing filings coordinating with internal and outside antitrust counsel and more broadly advocating for competition policy that reflects the dynamic nature of the companys services.

This position centers on effective advocacy: understanding T-Mobiles technology and services combining data with deep knowledge of the law to create persuasive arguments and clearly presenting the companys viewpoint while leveraging your knowledge of and relationships with key decision makers.

What youll do in your role.

  • Serve as the internal lead for pending transactions before the FCC.
  • Draft legal analyses strategy briefs and regulatory filings to support company advocacy and positioning.
  • Direct and managelaw firm and consultant work streams within your issue areas.
  • Monitor reviewand synthesize regulatory filings coalition positions and agency activity into actionable internal guidance.
  • Collaborate across legal government affairs and operations teams to ensure cohesive regulatory messaging and accurate representation of T-Mobiles technology and services.

The experience youll bring.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 7-10 years of legal experience preferably with a focus on federal telecommunications law FCC regulatory work or public policy.
  • Direct experience interacting with the FCC; experience with transaction approval is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical writing and research skillsable to translate regulatory complexity into business-relevant insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced high-impact environment.

    Base Pay Range: $144100 - $260000

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
