The Vacancy

We are looking for a Community Support Worker to join our friendly and enthusiastic team in the North East (Gateshead). This is a part- time post of 12 hours per week. This includes a Wednesday afternoon with the remaining hours open to discussion. The salary is 12.65 per hour.

Your role:

Youll be supporting people to be more independent to build local connections and friendships and improve their wellbeing. Every individual is unique youll help them imagine what a good life looks like then youll work with them to make it happen.

Basically youll be giving people the confidence skills and support they need to live the life they want to lead.

Youll be out and about meeting people in the community or their home.

Your experience:

  • You dont need a background in social care to join our team. Some of the best people who work for us include a decorator and a personal trainer.
  • Youre interested in peoples lives and ambitious for them. Sometimes youll need to push people out of their comfort zone.
  • Youre happy to work independently.
  • Youll learn everything else from colleagues and the training that we provide
