JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager Talent Developmentfor At Home is responsible for defining and executing the companys enterprise-wide talent strategy building the systems processes and programs that enable organizational effectiveness leadership pipeline strength and a cohesive culture framework across the company.
This role partners closely with HR and senior leadership to design and implement integrated talent development solutions that drive performance succession readiness and leadership effectiveness. The Sr. Manager will oversee key initiatives including leadership development performance management process succession planning process and high-potential development programs ensuring alignment to At Homes culture and long-term business strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Define and execute the enterprise talent development strategy aligning leadership capability succession and performance management processes to business objectives.
Lead company-wide leadership development including Officer multi-unit field leadership and mid-level management programs that build readiness for future growth.
Oversee performance management process and execution ensuring goal setting appraisal and feedback processes reinforce a culture of accountability results and team member development.
In partnership with the HR Business partner team develop annual talent review and succession planning process that result in the identification ofhigh-potential talent development needs required and career paths.
Develop talent analytics and insights to identify gaps and inform workforce planning and development investments.
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to translate capability gaps into targeted development solutions that drive business impact.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy and change management.
Lead and develop a team of talent development professionals fostering collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets and vendor partnerships to ensure effective delivery and measurable ROI across programs.
Champion At Homes culture and values by embedding them into all talent development programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in human resources or related field
Professional certifications preferred (e.g. Korn Ferry Leadership Architect 360 Feedback DDI SHRM-SCP SPHR Coaching Certification).
8 years of progressive experience in Talent Development or related HR disciplines.
Proven success designing and executing enterprise talent strategies in a multi-unit field environment (Stores Distribution and Home Office).
Deep expertise in leadership development succession planning and performance management frameworks.
Experience leading high-potential identification and development programs.
Strong analytical and consulting skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience with Oracle HCM Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
