Job Summary

Were seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and piping design projects for large-scale commercial facilities. This role focuses on project management system design and technical leadership through all phases of mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate brings strong communication leadership and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead HVAC piping and mechanical system design for commercial and institutional buildings.
Perform load calculations pump sizing and system layouts using industry standards.
Oversee project execution ensuring schedules budgets and technical requirements are met.
Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure seamless design integration.
Review drawings specifications and calculations for accuracy and code compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
5 years of experience in mechanical system design for commercial buildings.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems pumps and piping design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for mechanical layout and documentation.
Understanding of ASHRAE SMACNA and building code requirements.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams preferred.
