As a Senior Mechanical Engineer youll be a key member of the P&D team applying your mechanical expertise to develop innovative and highly user-centric solutions for our AAC devices. Youll collaborate with design and engineering teams to bring new products from concept to production ensuring the highest standards of performance and quality. As a result your work will directly empower individuals with communication-related disabilities enabling them to connect with the world.
In this role you will:
Write and review mechanical requirements to ensure practicality and feasibility relative to performance cost and schedule.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to define the design approach and create error-free 3D CAD models 2D drawings and assembly drawings.
Select and design mechanical components ensuring manufacturability and functionality for prototypes testing and production.
Build prototypes for testing proof-of-concept mock-ups and functional appearance models.
Interface with external resources such as prototype houses and contract manufacturers to support product development.
Act as a liaison between P&D teams in Stockholm and operations teams in China supporting engineering change orders (ECOs) for production releases.

You will play a key role in the product development process working with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality mechanical designs align with client needs and business objectives. We believe youre a proactive communicator who brings a creative problem-solving mindset and a hands-on approach to everything you do.
Wed like for you to have:
10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with a strong focus on product development.
Proficiency in SolidWorks including surface modeling and product lifecycle management (PDM).
Strong knowledge of design for manufacturability assembly and automation with experience in tool design and DFMEA.
Experience with injection molding design and low-volume production processes.
Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and statistical tolerance analysis.
Experience working in MedTech
