Caregiver

As a Caregiver at our Levin Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities such as puzzles table tennis etc

3 weeks paid training commences onsite on the 9th February 2026 ahead of the care centres official opening. 

You will work a 4 days on 2 days off rotating shift pattern with a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week. We have two options available

• Morning and Afternoon shifts -rotating 
• Night shifts

Qualifications :

You will naturally be empathetic kind and patient and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to peoples lives.

Youll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care within New Zealand
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
