As a Caregiver at our Te Awa Napier village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents daily lives.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
- Aiding with hygiene such as showering
- Assisting with Individual care plan requirements such as walks and exercises
- Helping with activities such as puzzles table tennis etc
This is a permanent role working a roster of: Four nights on two days off (with a minimum of 60 and maximum of 80 hours per fortnight).

Qualifications :
You will naturally be empathetic kind and patient and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to peoples lives.
Youll bring with you:
- Experience in aged care or a similar role
- Experience working within dementia care supported by a Level 4 dementia care qualification
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Commitment to a rotational roster across morning afternoon and night shifts
- Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 nights on and 2 days off
