Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Linux System Administrator to join our growing team! If youre passionate about Linux systems automation and continuous learning wed love to hear from you.
Tasks:
- Providing OS support for Linux machines
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Automate system administrative tasks
- Handling incident tickets
- Clarifying and implementing change tickets
- Processing orders (machine deployment or extension user creation etc.)
- Work with other internal teams
Qualifications :
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a Linux administrator
- RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) at least intermediate knowledge
- BASH scripting at least intermediate
- Package management experience with YUM and RPM
- Network management solid understanding of IP configuration routing and local firewalls
- User and group management including SSH key handling
- Configuration management basic experience with Ansible
- Automation tools at least a basic understanding from an admin perspective
- Basic experience with YAML and Jinja
- English capable of communicating effectively in a professional setting
Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)
- German communication-level proficiency
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Any RHEL certifications (RHCSA RHCE etc.)
- Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) certification at any level
