$100928 salary package - includes base salary ($88922) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (to be paid pro-rata)

About the role
TAFE NSW Assessors play a critical role in supporting student success and maintaining the integrity of vocational education. Under the supervision of the Teacher-in-Charge or Head Teacher Assessors conduct independent assessments and grading of student work ensuring alignment with industry standards and training package requirements.
In the Work Health and Safety (WHS) discipline Assessors apply their industry expertise to evaluate student competency across a range of WHS units including risk management incident response compliance and workplace consultation. They provide constructive feedback to students identify areas for further development and contribute to continuous improvement in training delivery.
Assessors work collaboratively with WHS teaching staff and other industry professionals to uphold quality assurance practices support student progression and ensure assessments reflect current workplace practices and legislative requirements. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong WHS background who are passionate about education and workforce capability development.
Note: This role does not teach or deliver training.
