The Role and What Youll Do:
We are seeking an experienced Event Logistics Manager to join our team. Logistics management will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the Official Hospitality Program for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milano-Cortina this role you will be responsible for overseeing the logistical needs for all shipping and receiving of equipment with the MC26 Competition venues and On Location offices and facilities. Ensuring that equipment is delivered on time with tight coordination of multiple FAs for all competition venues and hospitality spaces in coordination with our cluster and venue production management teams. You will facilitate the logistics needs of our FAs to supply goods to multiple venues before during and after the event. You will own the Master Delivery Schedule by researching tracking and collecting information from our Warehouse Team and FAs at each location for all Load-in and Load-out phases. This position will report to the On Location General Manager in Milan.
Lead key Logistics FA projects in collaboration with Warehouse and Logistics Managers ensuring timely delivery and alignment with MC26 operational needs.
Coordinate Vehicle Access and Parking Permit (VAPP) requests with the OCOG managing approvals and distribution.
Oversee the Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) ensuring accuracy updates and communication to all relevant stakeholders.
Manage the Vendor Certification Program (VCP) for all logistics vendors including compliance tracking and vendor onboarding.
Develop and implement Warehouse and Logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be shared and applied across all MC26 Functional Areas.
Support inventory system integration including uploading and reconciling On Location data into the Avion platform.
Ensure internal alignment through weekly coordination including ownership of LOG FA Airtable deadlines and participation in meetings with MC26 Logistical Functional Areas.
Oversee the entire logistics lifecycle ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Work closely with each Functional Area of the project to ensure each FAs logistical needs are collected and presented to our warehouse and delivery vendor for assessment procurement allocation and management in accordance with On Locations standards and policies.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the safe and secure transfer of all goods to and from each location.
Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure all vendors are onboarded and have ongoing tracking of invoicing and payments.
Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of technology procurement and inventory management.

You have these:
Bachelors degree in Logistics Warehousing or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management with experience managing large-scale logistic solutions for events with multiple locations and goods.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with every functional area.
Experience in vehicle access policies and procedures for large-scale events.
Experience in building and managing a logistics plan and master delivery schedule.
Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to logistics to maximize efficiency and optimize workflows.
Knowledge of logistics software inventory management systems processes and budgeting.
Experience in managing and tracking invoicing and payments with multiple vendors or suppliers.
Proficient in desktop systems including MS Office 365.
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment within a high-profile international project.
Licensed to operate a vehicle in Italy.
Fluency in both verbal and written English is required; proficiency in Italian is preferred.
