Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our team in Sheffield United Kingdom. As a Field Care Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in their homes.
- Oversee and support a team of care workers ensuring they provide excellent care to service users
- Conduct regular home visits to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain care plans ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with care standards
- Liaise with healthcare professionals families and other stakeholders to coordinate care services
- Manage staff rotas ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient resource allocation
- Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as needed
- Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals identifying training needs and supporting professional development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services and organisational processes
Qualifications :
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care such as NVQ Level 3 or above
- Proven experience in care supervision or management within a domiciliary care setting
- Strong knowledge of care standards regulations and best practices in the field
- Excellent leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in care planning and assessment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends as required
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry trends
