Due to a number of exciting new project wins particularly within the Healthcare sector were looking to strengthen our team in Leeds with the addition of a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key technical role within a growing team delivering innovative and sustainable building services solutions across a range of projects.
Heres what youll do:
- Report to the Associate Team Leader and take responsibility for mechanical design.
- Provide specialist technical input to studies and designs supporting and mentoring junior and graduate engineers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and contribute to high-quality project deliverables.
- Carry out quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation.
- Support the development of engineering budgets and project schedules.
- Apply a solid understanding of mechanical building services design software and industry standards.

Qualifications :
Ready to push the limits of whats possible
Requirements:
- Successful track record of mechanical building services design
- Good understanding of software packages used to design mechanical building services systems
- Experience in delivering projects using BIM software packages
- Experience of low carbon systems design and how to influence the built environment to reduce carbon emissions
- The ability to understand IES or other calculation packages
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Working towards membership of a relevant professional body such as CIBSE
