About the RSH Programme
The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH)is a programme that aims to support organisations in the humanitarian and development sector to strengthen their safeguarding policy and practice against Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH). RSH supports organisations working in both the humanitarian and development sectors and is driven by the needs of smaller national or local organisations in developing countries. The programme is funded by the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) until 2030.
About the Role
Based in Pakistan the post holder will play a pivotal role in the delivery of effective and high-quality implementation of the RSH Programme. The role will be responsible for team management planning and coordination of activities as well as stakeholder engagement and policy influencing. Based in the UK this role will play a central role inensuring smooth and compliant programme operations including accuratefinancial posting reporting budget tracking forecasting and expenditureanalysis.
The postholder will oversee day-to-day financial processessuch as advances reconciliations and procurement while maintaining robustsystems for asset management and audit readiness. They will also provideoperational support in areas such as travel coordination logistics andinformation management acting as a key link between consultants partnersnational hubs and the central team. This is a dynamic and collaborative rolethat requires strong financial management organisational and communicationskills with the opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of ameaningful global safeguarding initiative.
This is a full-time 15-month fixed-term contract. As an organisation we support flexible working arrangements which can be discussed at the interview stage.
About You
The successful candidate will lead the way in identifying mapping and strengthening our most important relationships. You will bring structure and insight to how we engage using data to ensure we act with clarity purpose and impact. We are looking for someone who thrives on connecting people shaping strategy and influencing change. This role will also convene and connect stakeholders around key sector issues. You will support colleagues across the programme to build confidence in stakeholder engagement embedding a culture of collaboration and shared ownership.
Main Responsibilities
Fiscal Compliance &Financial Management
Conduct spot checks on partnerexpenses through a bi-annual internal audit process.
Ensure that all staff partnerand consultant financial claims are eligible costs under the contractreviewing expenses and rates to ensure audit compliance.
Process consultant and partnertimesheets and invoices working with the Finance Team to ensure accuracy andtimely processing
Kimble Management &Operations
Manage the project account inKimble ensuring all rates align with agreed consultant rates.
Provide support introubleshooting issues related to Kimble usage and financial reporting.
Skills and Experience
At least 23 years experience infinance or administration within an NGO/development or consultancy settingincluding budgeting forecasting reporting procurement and reconciliation.
Proven ability to maintainaccurate financial records and audit-ready documentation.
Excellent communication project management and organisational skills.
Experience in report writing for bilateral donors such as the FCDO.
Experience in delivering communications strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Excel Word Outlook) and financial management systems with particularlystrong excel skills.
