Job Summary
Job Description:
This role will be based at a 100 person manufacturing plant that makes a truly innovative chemical product for the agricultural space. The processes are chemical processes and site is PSM-regulated the parent company has consistently invested in this company over the past decade expanding production capacity and plant capabilities. This is a new position within this facility and will be focused on leveling up particularly in the areas of safety and retention. This person will oversee production quality EHS and logistics/warehousing and will have a group of in-plant leaders reporting to them.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in a PSM-regulated manufacturing plant is a must-have
- Qualified applicants will have at least 5-10 years of previous management and leadership experience
- Looking for someone with a track record of outside the box problem-solving someone who has come up with creative solutions to employee retention in particular
- Another point of emphasis will be on someone who knows what good looks like and who has capably led teams through changes
