ECHO Ontario Mental Health at CAMH (ECHO-ONMH) is a virtual training and capacity building model that supports healthcare providers in delivering high quality evidence-based mental health and addictions care in their communities. ECHO-ONMH currently supports nine ECHO hubs provincially with continued partnership with UHN CAMH also provides leadership for the ECHO Ontario Superhub which supports the development of new ECHO programs and hubs through training and mentorship.

Reporting to the Director Northern Outreach & Virtual Care and ECHO we are seeking a full-time permanent Program Manager of ECHO-ONMH who will provide program leadership through the management and growth of the communities of practice and the Ontario SuperHub ensuring program quality sustainability and alignment with strategic goals. Operationally this role will oversee the planning implementation and evaluation of programs; manage contracts budgets invoices and reporting and leverage data analysis to inform strategic directions risk and continuous improvement. Development and implementation of programs and processes will be executed in alignment with the ECHO Institute the Ministry of Health CAMH policies and procedures and contractual obligations.

As a member of the ECHO Ontario Superhub the manager will support collaboration alignment and strategic planning across all Ontario based ECHOs. This provincial role will also oversee and participate in the training and mentorship of newly emerging ECHOs and hubs according to the standards established by the ECHO Institute. This role will collaborate with various internal and external partners and support strategic opportunities in this rapidly expanding field through facilitation of meetings and committees.

To support with knowledge translation and dissemination efforts the manager will present about ECHO to stakeholders learners and periodically at conferences. This role will also participate in and support the evaluation of the service and contribute to research activities.

The Manager will be responsible for managing human resources including direct supervision scheduling staff oversight performance management and recruitment. The role will support the professional development and training needs to foster growth in staff. The manager may also be called upon to participate in labour negotiations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Masters degree in a Health Health Administration or related field
  • 2-5 years of related of leadership experience in a dynamic team environment achieving superior results; supervisory experience within a unionized environment is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to build manage and sustain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance program goals and delivery
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing concurrent projects balancing competing priorities and delivering results aligned with organizational goals & program strategy
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in the development of business plans proposals and reports including familiarity with MOHLTC submissions contracts and budgets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to inform decision making and translate stakeholder needs into clear actionable strategies and solutions
  • A strong understanding of the ECHO model and other services designed to increase access to care and build collaboration within primary care
  • A strong understanding of Mental Health and Addictions and the health care sector
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology including Zoom/WebEx Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) survey tools (REDCap Survey Monkey).
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written) exceptional organizational skills and professionalism
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset

Please Note: This full-time permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
