ECHO Ontario Mental Health at CAMH (ECHO-ONMH) is a virtual training and capacity building model that supports healthcare providers in delivering high quality evidence-based mental health and addictions care in their communities. ECHO-ONMH currently supports nine ECHO hubs provincially with continued partnership with UHN CAMH also provides leadership for the ECHO Ontario Superhub which supports the development of new ECHO programs and hubs through training and mentorship.
Reporting to the Director Northern Outreach & Virtual Care and ECHO we are seeking a full-time permanent Program Manager of ECHO-ONMH who will provide program leadership through the management and growth of the communities of practice and the Ontario SuperHub ensuring program quality sustainability and alignment with strategic goals. Operationally this role will oversee the planning implementation and evaluation of programs; manage contracts budgets invoices and reporting and leverage data analysis to inform strategic directions risk and continuous improvement. Development and implementation of programs and processes will be executed in alignment with the ECHO Institute the Ministry of Health CAMH policies and procedures and contractual obligations.
As a member of the ECHO Ontario Superhub the manager will support collaboration alignment and strategic planning across all Ontario based ECHOs. This provincial role will also oversee and participate in the training and mentorship of newly emerging ECHOs and hubs according to the standards established by the ECHO Institute. This role will collaborate with various internal and external partners and support strategic opportunities in this rapidly expanding field through facilitation of meetings and committees.
To support with knowledge translation and dissemination efforts the manager will present about ECHO to stakeholders learners and periodically at conferences. This role will also participate in and support the evaluation of the service and contribute to research activities.
The Manager will be responsible for managing human resources including direct supervision scheduling staff oversight performance management and recruitment. The role will support the professional development and training needs to foster growth in staff. The manager may also be called upon to participate in labour negotiations.
