Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.
The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy Doctor of Dental Medicine Master of Arts in Medical Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five-state region.

The Lead Regional Administrator (LRA) provides critical support and functional supervision to Regional Site Administrators (RSAs) and Regional Clerkship Administrators (RCAs) within the Clinical Education Department. This role ensures consistency quality and efficiency across all PNWU regions for third-and fourth-year medical student rotations.
The LRA works closely with the Executive Director of Clinical Education RSAs/RCAs students faculty and clinical training sites to support smooth operations strengthen communication and foster collaborative relationships. The LRA plays a central role in advancing the growth and sustainability of clinical education programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide leadership guidance and day-to-day functional supervision to RSAs and RCAs standardizing operational practices across regions (where possible) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Ensure continuity of operations by providing centralized coverage during vacancies PTO or leaves maintaining timely placements credentialing and site communications.
Coordinate and deliver training for new RSAs and RCAs while also providing ongoing context-specific training and process reviews for current staff. Develop and maintain department-level onboarding processes checklists and resources.
Monitor logistics communication processes and data tracking related to student rotations providing oversight support and guidance on best practices.
Foster collaboration and proactive problem-solving across regions to enhance student faculty and preceptor experiences.
Serve as the primary liaison between regional staff and the Executive Director of Clinical Education ensuring clear communication consistent application of institutional policies and alignment of regional operations with departmental and university goals.
Oversee the timely receipt and review of preceptor and student evaluations escalating concerns to the Assistant Dean as appropriate.
Act as the trusted advisor and first point of contact for RSAs and RCAs providing guidance expertise and direction to resolve questions strengthen decision-making and support staff development.
Build and maintain course timeframes in eValue.
Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
Education and Experience:
Required: Associates Degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years experience
or
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a related field including administrative project management or academic support roles with increasing responsibilities preferably in healthcare administration Public Health higher education or medical education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in related field

Ability to have exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively; ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment; skilled with strong written and verbal communication skills including professional email correspondence and report writing; skilled in high level of accuracy and attention to detail; knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook Teams PowerPoint) and experience using learning management systems (e.g. SharePoint eValue) or similar platforms; and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism in compliance with FERPA and institutional policies
