Trainee Employment Coach

• Hours: 45 hours per fortnight
  • Week 1: 2 days (7:30am 3:30pm)
  • Week 2: 4 days (7:30am 3:30pm)

• Pay rate: Trainee Wage $22.07 per hour
• Initially employed as a trainee for a maximum period of 24 months with the potential to progress into a full Employment Coach role on completion of your traineeship.
• Location: Southport (office with ramp access)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Employment Coach to join our Southport team. This role offers the chance to build a rewarding career supporting people with disability to develop skills gain confidence and achieve their employment goals.

As a Trainee youll complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (or Community Support) while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Once youve completed your traineeship theres potential to progress into a full Employment Coach role.

Youll be part of a supportive team environment there will always be another Employment Coach on site and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Support employees to achieve their workplace and personal development goals.
• Coach and guide individuals through their daily work tasks.
• Promote a safe inclusive and positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Maintain accurate records and support internal reporting requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality service delivery.

Skills and Experience:

• A genuine interest in supporting others to grow and succeed at work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and complete the Certificate III qualification as part of the traineeship.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred).

Previous experience supporting people or working in a team environment will be highly regarded but is not essential well provide full training and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications:

• Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• NDIS clearance.
• National Police clearance.
• Drivers Licence not required.
