Are you passionate about personal injury law and ready to take on a crucial role in our team Were seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our attorneys through pre-litigation and some litigation phases. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing top-notch clerical and research support we want to hear from you!
This is a 100% on site position. We believe this work is done best together!
What Youll Do:
- Drive Success: Assist with personal injury pre-litigation and some litigation cases by providing essential clerical and research support.
- Be a Key Player: Support one to three attorneys with document preparation and review client and witness interviews research investigations fact-checking and trial preparation.
- Engage Directly: Communicate effectively with clients providers and insurance companies ensuring smooth and clear interactions.
- Stay Organized: Use your organizational skills and proactive approach to manage case details documents and deadlines efficiently.
What You Need:
- Experience:
- Strong understanding of legal language and principles research methods court pleadings and processes.
- Proven ability in document preparation client interviews and trial support.
- 1 year of legal experience highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (2 years required) and familiarity with FileVine or other case management systems (preferred).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
