Job Description
Saint Lukes Hospital in Kansas City MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Central Patient Logistics teram as Patient Placement Coordinator.
Shift Details: Day Shift 7pm - 7am
Patient Placement Coordinator: Patient Placement Nurse Coordinator will Plan coordinate and manage patient bed assignments to ensure the patient is admitted to the most appropriate patient care unit in a timely manner from all points of entry. The Coordinators primary function is to ensure safe efficient well-coordinated admissions or transfers. Patient Placement Nurse Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the patient disposition process.
Assist in the multidisciplinary approach to capacity management.
Discuss and coordinate patient transfers and admissions from: OR ER Transfer Team. inter-hospital transfers and other sources
Discuss and coordinate with: Charge Nurses HS AOC Physicians
