We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Process Technology Manager Cooking to join our Fiberline this role you will be responsible for planning directing and coordinating a team of engineers and their activities.
You will be based in Karlstad (Sweden).

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct engineering projects making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Resolve product issues related to design or production needs ensuring timely and effective solutions. Contribute with deep knowledge in cooking processes and operations in challenging projects.
  • Build and lead a global virtual team of specialized resources and mentor and coach junior and mid-level process engineers and specialists to develop into senior-level contributors capable of supporting similar complex projects.
  • Liaise with management production and marketing staff to discuss engineering specifications and procedures. Provide support for production technologies in various locations ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
  • Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of engineering requirements and manage the workflow of the engineering department and subcontractors.
  • Generate and support technology and operational standards ensuring effective communication between locations.
  • Support and collaborate with Product Management and R&D in the development of new products and process improvements including feasibility studies.
  • Actively challenge ideas and the status quo with respect to technology manufacturing and process capabilities.

Who is the candidate we are looking for

  • Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of Cooking processes.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and Swedish Finnish and Portuguese are beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
