The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Sociology Teacher to join a highly successful Social Sciences Department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Sociology at A Level delivering engaging challenging lessons that foster critical thinking and independent enquiry.

You will:

• Teach high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 maintaining outstanding academic outcomes.
• Inspire and engage students through dynamic discussion-based learning and real-world application of sociological ideas.
• Contribute to departmental planning curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Support the schools ethos of excellence and inclusion both in the classroom and across the wider community.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
• Strong academic background in Sociology or a related discipline.

• Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaboration.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
