Job Summary
Are you an imaginative and curriculum-minded Year 4 Teacher looking for a Full-Time role in an Independent School in Manchester from January 2026 This Independent School seeks a creative Year 4 Teacher to join KS2. The successful Year 4 Teacher will take part in planning prior to January 2026 will attend induction in January 2026 and will begin teaching from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher.

Role summary - Year 4 Teacher
The Year 4 Teacher will plan coherent sequences in maths and English lead enquiry-based foundation topics and deliver engaging knowledge-rich lessons as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will design interventions and enrichment to raise achievement and will work closely with TAs and subject leads. From preparatory planning before January 2026 to full implementation after January 2026 the Year 4 Teacher will be central to the schools KS2 success.
Development & progression for the Year 4 Teacher
The Independent School offers coaching peer observation and a bespoke CPD pathway so the Year 4 Teacher can develop into subject leadership. The Year 4 Teacher will join induction in January 2026 access targeted training in January 2026 and be supported to pilot curriculum innovations following January 2026.
Person specification - Year 4 Teacher
We seek a Year 4 Teacher with QTS confident KS2 classroom practice and a reflective research-informed approach. The Year 4 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and a Full-Time start from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher in this Independent School.
