Overview

We are seeking an IT Purchasing Agent to manage the full Purchase-to-Pay process for technology-related goods and services. This position is responsible for processing requisitions creating purchase orders coordinating deliveries and resolving any order or invoice discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail solid organizational skills and experience with Oracle Purchasing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Purchase-to-Pay process using the Oracle Purchasing module to support procurement of IT goods and services.
• Process purchase requisitions based on internal requests and convert approved requisitions into purchase orders.
• Issue move order requests for internal inventory items and assist management in maintaining appropriate par levels.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to provide order status updates and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate expedited shipping requests and address delivery delays as needed.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve discrepancies in orders or invoices.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred (Business Administration or related field).
• Experience: 3 4 years of experience in purchasing procurement or supply chain management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Oracle 11i/R12 Purchasing
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word Outlook).
• Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professional integrity and ethical standards.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35.00/hour paid weekly on Fridays.
