Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to design implement and manage Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in cloud architecture to lead infrastructure modernization application migrations and operational optimization aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable secure and efficient Azure environments while staying current on emerging cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture: Design document and maintain Azure cloud strategies that ensure scalability reliability and security.
Solution Delivery: Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure resources including networks VMs containers storage and application services.
Migration: Develop and execute strategies to transition legacy systems to Azure with minimal downtime.
Security & Compliance: Apply robust security practices and ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune Azure resources for performance reliability and cost efficiency.
Collaboration: Work with developers DevOps and IT leadership to align solutions with organizational needs.
Automation: Create scripts and automation for provisioning configuration and deployment using PowerShell Terraform or Azure CLI.
Disaster Recovery: Design and implement backup recovery and continuity solutions within Azure.
Documentation: Maintain clear detailed documentation of architectures configurations and processes.
Mentorship: Train and guide internal teams on Azure best practices and emerging tools.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field; Masters preferred.
Experience: 7 years in IT including 3 years in Azure cloud architecture and solutions. Proven experience in cloud migration and modernization. Strong background in infrastructure design networking and security.
Certifications & Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required)
- Proficiency with Azure AD AKS Azure Functions Azure SQL and Azure DevOps
- Strong scripting with PowerShell Python or equivalent
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform Bicep ARM templates)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
