This role suits someone who is detail-oriented reliable and able to handle sensitive client matters in a professional fast-moving and collaborative office setting.
Primary Duties

Draft and prepare legal documents including petitions responses discovery materials and correspondence related to family law matters.

Manage and organize case files calendars and important court deadlines.

Coordinate communication between clients attorneys and external parties while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Assemble and prepare exhibits and supporting materials for court hearings and trials.
-
File legal documents electronically through the South Carolina e-filing platform.
-
Support attorneys with case preparation client consultations and court appearances.
-
Communicate effectively with clients court staff and opposing counsel to ensure efficient case progression.
Required Skills & Experience

Prior hands-on experience in family or domestic litigation preferred.

Solid understanding of South Carolina Family Court procedures and documentation requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational habits and precise attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal practice management systems.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
