Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependableClass B Welderto join a skilled fabrication team inTulsa OK. TheClass B Welderwill weld on waste heat recovery equipment designed and built toASME Code including waste heat and process gas boilers steam drums economizers superheaters and pressure vessels. This position requires advanced welding skills across multiple processes materials and positions as well as a strong commitment to precision safety and code compliance.

Weld Tests Required

6 Schedule 80 6G GTAW (TIG) Stringer / Hot Pass SMAW (Stick) Fill and Cap.
3G FCAW (Flux Core)on ½ Plate.

Key Responsibilities

PerformFlux Core (FCAW)Stick (SMAW) andTIG (GTAW)welding processes on pressure vessels and related components.
Weld in all positions flat horizontal vertical and overhead.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedure specifications (WPS)to ensure all work meets ASME Code and client requirements.
Work with a variety of materials includingcarbon steel stainless steel chrome and nickel alloys.
Pass X-ray and other non-destructive testing (NDT)inspections.
Utilizecarbon arc gouging and cutting torchfor weld prep and repair.
Maintainweld quality accuracy and safety standardsin a manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with supervisors and other weldersto meet project timelines and productivity goals.
Performadditional shop labor tasksas needed to support fabrication and assembly operations.

Qualifications

Minimum5 years of welding experiencein amanufacturing or fabrication setting.
Proficient inASME Code weldingand pressure vessel fabrication.
Strong knowledge ofFCAW SMAW and GTAWwelding techniques.
Must demonstrateproficiency in blueprint reading and layout.
Ability towork safely efficiently and independentlyin a high-production environment.
Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)experience is a plus.
