Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving associate to join a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Tulsa OK. The Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving position involves performing precise stock-keeping functions including handling incoming and outgoing goods packaging staging and inventory support. This role is ideal for someone with strong forklift experience organizational skills and a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform stock-keeping and inventory tasks for incoming goods packaging and parts.
Load and unload materials including parts and components using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Count stack and move pallets or carts between staging packaging and assembly areas.
Monitor picking tickets to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
Unpack and verify incoming shipments ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Assist in packaging labeling and stocking of products on shelves or racks.
Perform weekly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Collaborate with team members to support ongoing operations and process improvements.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of proven forklift experience required.
Proficiency with warehouse and inventory systems.
Ability to perform basic math and computer tasks accurately and efficiently.
Team-oriented and self-sufficient with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending squatting climbing and standing for long periods.
Must pass pre-employment screening and maintain adherence to all safety policies.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive position involving work with vehicles forklifts and power tools.
Requires standing bending squatting and climbing for up to 95% of the shift.
Must be able to lift pull push and carry up to 50 lbs safely (team lifts and assist devices used when possible).
Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
