Were looking for a Finance Business Partner Adult Social Care (ASC) to join our public sector client on an initial 5-month contract paying up to 553 per day Inside IR35.
This role offers hybrid working with flexibility to attend the office as required.
Youll be joining the Finance Directorate working within the Operational Finance / ASC team and reporting to the Head of Finance. Youll provide high-quality financial direction support and guidance across Adult Social Care ensuring effective management of budgets and sound financial planning.
The successful Finance Business Partner will:
Support the Adult Social Care business with financial planning budgeting forecasting and identifying savings opportunities.
Oversee financial performance against a net budget of 130 million including 90 million in ASC placements and a 20 million Public Health Grant.
Translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders and influence senior managers to drive accountability.
Provide robust financial challenge to ensure effective decision-making and value for money.
Assist in the development of long-term strategic financial plans aligned with the Councils medium-term financial forecasts.
Lead and coordinate a small finance team (up to three direct reports).
