Job Summary

Portfolio Implementation Specialist (Wealth Management)

This six-month hybrid contract role supports the implementation of guided investment portfolios tailored to client needs risk profiles and market conditions. The role connects investment strategy with client delivery ensuring seamless execution stakeholder alignment and operational efficiency. Based in Toronto with two required in-office days per week.

What is in it for you:

Salaried: $60-67 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $69-76 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Hybrid model: 2 days per week in-office.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Product SLGI Operations and Wealth Consultants to coordinate effective portfolio implementation and rebalancing.
Manage trade execution transitions and operational processes to optimize efficiency.
Identify and implement automation or process improvements in the investment workflow
Deliver tailored portfolio insights and proposals in collaboration with SLGI wholesalers and advisors.
Communicate guided portfolio strategies clearly and in a client-focused manner.
Support business development with competitive analyses portfolio reviews and investment positioning.
Lead training sessions and workshops on best practices in portfolio implementation.
Collaborate with product and dealer teams to integrate new investment offerings into portfolios.
Contribute to the development of portfolio guidelines and strategic enhancements.
Assist in enhancing platforms used for portfolio analytics rebalancing and execution.

What you will need to succeed:

Experience in the investment or dealer industry.
Direct experience in the investment dealer sector is required.
Strong diplomacy with the ability to manage relationships across business units.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex portfolio transitions.
Execution-focused with strong attention to accuracy and deadlines.
Proficiency in portfolio management systems and financial platforms.
Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
