We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous Data Entry Quality Control Specialist to work this remote role you will oversee the accuracy and integrity of data entry operations perform quality assurance tasks and support our remote team in maintaining high standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control reviews of data entered by the remote data entry team verifying accuracy completeness consistency and compliance with standards.
Identify errors duplicates inconsistencies or omissions in data entries and collaborate remotely with data entry staff to resolve them.
Maintain organized documentation of QC processes and findings and report metrics to management in a remote setting.
Develop and maintain data quality assurance procedures and best practices tailored for remote operations.
Monitor remote workflow productivity and accuracy and provide feedback or training support to improve performance.
Assist with ad-hoc projects focusing on data clean-up and process improvement in a remote work environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience in data entry quality control administrative or clerical roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and unwavering accuracy especially while working remotely.
Comfortable working from home in a remote environment with strong time-management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel) or equivalent software and adaptable to remote technology platforms.
Reliable internet access and a suitable remote workspace.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team setting.

Education: Bachelors degree in Geosciences Petroleum Engineering Data Analytics or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Previous field experience in drilling mud logging or logging-while-drilling (LWD) is strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret complex drilling and geological data identify anomalies and produce actionable insights. Excellent technical acuity including familiarity with drilling parameters and logging tools (e.g. mud logging units mass spectrometry analyzers) DataLog uses advanced analyzers like the Epsilon DGMS140. Good communication skills: ability to work in a high-pressure remote field environment liaise effectively with rig personnel and logging teams. Physical and logistical readiness: ability to work on remote sites lift and move equipment (e.g. minimum of 50 lbs) and be available for rotational shift schedules. Commitment to safety attention to detail and reliability in field conditions.
