Job Summary

GISD Campus Paraprofessional / Aide Pool Application

Assist the classroom teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.

Education/Certification / Experience:

High school diploma or GED
Associates degree or two years of study at an institute of higher learning preferred
Meet - or ability to meet - formal academic assessment required byESSA
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to assist in instructing science reading writing and mathematics
Ability to work well with children
Ability to communicate effectively
Some experienceworking with children required
