Job Summary

Job Description
The Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing at Weber State University seeks innovative and enthusiastic faculty who have a passion for nursing and nursing education. This is a 12-month instructor position. Instructor positions are temporary appointments that are renewable by separate contract at the sole discretion of the University.

Required Qualifications
Required: Master of Science in Nursing required by December 31 2025. Must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE -accredited nursing program (or related/equivalent). Active unencumbered state of Utah or compact state registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse license. Basic technology skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred: Doctorate degree in nursing or related field. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to integrate technology in nursing education. Previous experience as a nurse educator. Teaching experience in higher education. Clinical nursing experience in related areas of teaching. Demonstrated scholarship activities. Authored publications in peer-reviewed journals.
