Position Title: Electrical Fitter (2 Positions Available)
Location: Wangara Workshop WA
Roster: 4/4 & 4/2 rotating
Hourly Rate: $50$52 per hour (weekend penalties paid)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Overview
Reporting to the Workshop Manager the Electrical Fitter will be responsible for:
- Electrical fitting assembly and rewinding of a variety of electrical motors and pumps.
- Assisting in the training mentoring and supervision of trainees and apprentices.
- Ensuring work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Collaborating with the workshop team to maintain productivity and workflow.
- Roster: 4/4 & 4/2 rotating
- Hourly Rate: $50$52 per hour (penalties paid when working outside of roster)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble refurbish and reassemble AC and DC motors of various sizes.
- Perform motor rewinds with precision and adherence to technical specifications.
- Conduct testing dynamic balancing and machining where required.
- Maintain a clean safe and organised work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Current and valid Electrical Licence.
- Strong technical knowledge of AC and DC motors from fractional H/P to large machines.
- Demonstrated motor refurbishment experience is essential.
- Motor rewind experience is highly desirable.
- Machining and dynamic balancing experience is desirable.
- Forklift (FL) licence is desirable.
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safe work procedures.
