Functional Data Owner – FI

Job Description

Fusion Consulting is looking for an experienced Functional Data Owner FI to serve as the global focal point for their assigned data objects in scope for this role you will collaborate closely with all key stakeholders including Global Template BDOs Functional Streams Data Migration Developers and Legacy System Experts to ensure the accurate preparation validation and migration of critical financial accounting data.

What you will be doing:

• Collect the functional specification for data migration tools.
• Provide test data sets for migration tool testing and validation.
• Provide guidance on SAP ECC standard extractions (where applicable).
• Own global templates/scripts e.g. FSs (DDT) SATs DVSs etc. for their objects incl. the content such as validation and verification approach authorizations.
• Review and approve SAT testing of DM tools.
• Provide guidance to business teams on data readiness/cleansing based on technical requirements.
• Review and confirm testing of defect resolutions related to the design of global template data migration tools.
• Knowledge transfers to deployment/local Functional Data Owners per their objects

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Financial Accounting (FI) experience.
• Proven data migration experience in large-scale or global SAP programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data models especially within the FI module.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams in a global template environment.
• Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills.
