Job Description Summary
You will work directly under the direction of the dentist(s) primarily preparing for and assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Your role is critical to the practices success helping patients improve their oral health and achieve the smile of their dreams.
You will also manage administrative duties: greeting patients answering questions providing guidance and education on oral hygiene and managing patient files (notes booking appointments and follow-ups). You will also oversee the cleaning maintenance and stocking of dental equipment instruments and the clinical area.
Schedule
- Mondays through Fridays.
- No weekends are required.
- The schedule includes evenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays (until 8pm).
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage: $25 to $32 per hour - based on your specific skills relevant certifications and positive attitude demonstrated.
- Healthcare Spendings Account

- Free Dental (excluding lab fees)
Requirements and Key Qualities
- Registered as a Dental Assistant in the province of Alberta.
- 3 months of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Experience with the following imaging types: Digital with Sensors iTero CEREC PAN.
- Interpersonal skills: Positive attitude self-motivation ability to multitask attention to detail excellent time management and organisation strong communication skills accountability adaptability problem solving and decision making commitment to development.
- Experience with coaching or mentoring others is an asset.
