What youll do

Reporting to the Head of Release Management & Fixed Odds youll lead the charge in shaping the testing function and designing and executing advanced testing strategies across the software development lifecycle for Tabcorps Digital Wagering team. Youll bring deep technical expertise and a sharp delivery mindset to ensure every release is robust secure and aligned with business goals.

The role requires a candidate with experience in Senior Test leadership or as a Senior Test Architect rather than a Test Manager focused solely on program delivery.

• Youll drive continuous improvement modernise testing frameworks and embed automation and CI/CD practices. From mentoring QA engineers to collaborating across tech and delivery teams youll elevate quality and performance across the board.
• Provide leadership in a high-performance tech team and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
• Align complex testing strategies for critical initiatives with business priorities compliance and customer expectations
• Engage senior stakeholders on a regular basis
• Champion modern testing methodologies across unit integration performance and UI layers
• Own and implement automation frameworks tools and practices across initiatives
• Collaborate with Product Engineering Platform and Release teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Provide assurance on completion of test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with requirements and industry best practice
• Mentor QA engineers and developers in best practice testing and automation
• Promote inclusive leadership courageous conversations and a growth mindset
• Drive retrospectives root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

What youll bring

• 10 years in senior technology roles with deep expertise in test function enhancement and test strategy and execution
• Proven leadership in complex cloud-based environments
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks CI/CD agile delivery and development methodologies programming languages (e.g. Python Java) and version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Strong knowledge of regulated industries and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A passion for quality innovation and building high-performing teams
