Job Summary

SwitchroomElectricians
Hours: 58 hours per week (M-F 6.30am - 5pm Sat 6.30am - 3pm)
Pay Rate: $60 - 65per hour flat rate
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wire and install electrical switch rooms.
- Conduct testing fault finding and repair of electrical equipment.
- Perform electrical terminations cable glanding and control wiring.
- Read interpret and work from electrical drawings schematics and technical documentation.
- Adhere to company and client safety procedures including JHAs permits and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with other trades contractors and project teams.
Skills & Experience
- Current WA Electrical Licence and provenexperience working within a switch room environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards regulations and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in cable terminations control wiring and power distribution systems.
- Experience in commissioning and testing of switchboards and LV systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Must Have
- Ideally own tools (Basic hand tools)
- Own reliable transport to get to work
- Great communication skills
- Safety boots
- Right to work in Australia (Working holiday accepted)
