Job Summary
Position Summary
The Administrative Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and program support to the Advancement Division at UNC Greensboro. This role is responsible for coordinating managing and monitoring workflow for programs and projects across multiple departments within Advancement. The position ensures efficient office operations supports event and meeting logistics manages data and reporting and assists with communications and project management. This position will require general office coverage and other duties as assigned by the Project Manager as well as adaptability and openness to change as the needs of the organization change.
Minimum Qualifications
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENCY ; OR DEMONSTRATED POSSESSION OF THE COMPETENCIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE WORK .
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree or Associate degree. Experience in a professional office environment providing administrative support. Proficiency in MS Office including Excel Word PowerPoint and M365 file sharing; Banner database Evertrue Spartan Mart Jagger Genie. Experience with state budgeting/procurement practices. Strong written and oral communication skills; collaborative and customer-service oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
