Lakes Region Community College is seeking an Licensed Nursing Assistant Program Instructor for both a fall course and a Spring 2026 course. Please indicate your interest in either or both by applying through our website at DESCRIPTION: The NH Board of Nursing approved Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program consists of 46 hours of theory/lab and 60 hours of clinical for a total of 106 hours of coursework. The theory portion is delivered online through the colleges learning management system (LMS) Canvas and in the classroom lab. The clinical is arranged at a local health care facility. After successfully completing the LNA program all students must register for the state competency written and clinical exam and complete a criminal background check/fingerprinting as part of the process to obtain their LNA license with the State of New Hampshire.

Acute Care and Long-Term Care (LTC) clinical settings
Clinical Instruction Requirements:
A total of 60 hours of clinical instruction:
30 hours in a nursing home (Long-Term Care) setting
30 hours in a hospital (Acute Care) setting
Schedule:
Dates: To Be Determined (TBD)
Acute Care Clinicals:
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM each clinical day
Fall/Spring Semesters: Two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for a total of four days
Summer Semester: Mondays and Wednesdays for two weeks (four days total)
Long-Term Care (LTC) Clinicals:
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM each clinical day
Scheduled as needed
Fall/Spring Semesters: Two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for a total of four days

Additional Information:
The Board of Nursing requires documentation that students complete 60 clinical hours in addition to their classroom and lab hours. Make-up dates may need to be scheduled to ensure students meet this requirement.
Minimum requirement: Licensed Practical Nurse
Must complete an NH Board of Nursing approved Train the Trainer Program
Must have 2 years experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age with 1 year experience in the provision of long-term care (LTC) facility services;
Minimum requirement: Registered Nurse
Must have Associate degree nursing educational preparation
Must complete an NH Board of Nursing approved Train the Trainer Program
Must have 2 years experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age with 1 year experience in the provision of long-term care (LTC) facility services
OR
Must have Baccalaureate nursing educational preparation
Must have 2 years experience working with the elderly or chronically ill of any age with 1 year experience in the provision of long-term care (LTC) facility services
All Candidates must have either an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse License in NH or multi-state nursing license from another compact state

Salary: The compensation rate is $47.95 to $59.45 hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
