About the Role
Were looking for a proactive Senior Test & Commissioning Engineer to join our project team. This role involves leading testing and commissioning of rail systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support testing and commissioning of rail systems.
- Support fault finding root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Update testing documentation and evidences.
- Prepare test specifications and reports in line with ASA EN and IEC standards.
- Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers ensuring competency in testing procedures.
- Liaise with clients contractors and government bodies including Auckland Transport.
- Coordinate with external project stakeholders.
- Ensure safety compliance during live testing and issue work permits as required.
Skills & Experience
- Experienced in test and commissioning of rail systems (rollingstock or wayside)
- Strong background in rail systems testing and engineering change management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite SAP FRACAS and technical reporting.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Australian and international standards (ASA EN IEC).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications :
Bachelor of Engineering
