Job Summary

About the Role

Were looking for a proactive Senior Test & Commissioning Engineer to join our project team. This role involves leading testing and commissioning of rail systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support testing and commissioning of rail systems.
Support fault finding root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Update testing documentation and evidences.
Prepare test specifications and reports in line with ASA EN and IEC standards.
Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers ensuring competency in testing procedures.
Liaise with clients contractors and government bodies including Auckland Transport.
Coordinate with external project stakeholders.
Ensure safety compliance during live testing and issue work permits as required.

Skills & Experience

Experienced in test and commissioning of rail systems (rollingstock or wayside)
Strong background in rail systems testing and engineering change management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite SAP FRACAS and technical reporting.
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with Australian and international standards (ASA EN IEC).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications :

Bachelor of Engineering
