Job Summary

What you get to do in this role:

Partner with team members acrossmultiple offices and other partners(FinanceLegal IT and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant USGAAP and SEC developmentsto ensure revenuerecognition procedures comply
Implement controls and evaluate actions requiredfor compliance with ServiceNow revenue recognitionaccounting process including the bookings andbillings process
Complete required month-end close activitiesincluding revenue reconciliation and managementreporting
Support process improvementsandimplementation of revenue reportingto furtherrefine revenue tasks and shorten revenueclosecycle
Document reviews following ASC 606 accounting standards
Provision and creation of training on revenuerecognition rules and policies topartners (Sales Deal Desk Legal and SalesOps)andanyother departments
Perform contract analysis review and apply criticalthinking to ensure subscription contracts have been accounted for

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
4 years of experience with abackground in a Big 4 public accounting firm preferred
Active CPA designation and industryaccounting experience
Experience applying SAB 104 andEITF 08-1 as it relates to SaaS or softwarecompanies (or experience with EITF00-21) and working knowledge of all othercurrent literature related torevenue recognition a plus
Strong organizational skills and detail-orientedself-starter with the ability to workindependently to meet deadlines
Ability to work within a team toexpedite completion of projects withother teams including FP&A SalesMarketing and Information Systems
Experience with MS Officesoftware including Excel Word andPowerPoint
Experience with SAP is preferred
