We are seeking an Inside Machinist to provide support at Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Product Family located in San Diego CA. This Inside Machinist will be responsible for machine fabricate and refurbish newly designed and replacement shipboard components utilizing templates and technical documentation including ships drawings. Work includes removing repairing manufacturing new parts modifying and testing various shipboard components. Providing Journeyman-level support with minimum supervision exercising independent judgment and decision-making within the framework of oral and written guidance accepted trade practices processes and procedures while accomplishing assignments.
