Job Summary
Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy.
Initiate monitor and manage oxygen therapy.
Assist physicians with ventilation management and adjustments.
Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas sampling.
Provide emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to all clinical protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy.
Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License/Registration required.
Minimum 2 years of post-degree acute care clinical experience.
Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric experience preferred.
Flexibility required no block scheduling or dual assignments permitted.
